CAPSTAR starts working in just 30 minutes. A single dose of CAPSTAR should kill the adult fleas on the pet. If the pet gets reinfested with fleas, you can safely give another dose as often as one dose per day.  Safe for puppies and kittens 4 weeks of age and older, weighing 2 pounds or greater. Also, safe for pregnant or nursing dogs.  

How to Use: A single dose of Capstar (nitenpyram) should kill the adult fleas on the pet. If the pet gets reinfested with fleas, you can safely give another dose as often as one dose per day. To administer; place the pill directly in the pet’s mouth, or hide in the pet’s food. If you choose to hide the tablet in the pet’s food, watch closely to make sure the pet swallows the pill. If you are not sure that the pet swallowed the pill, it is safe to administer a second pill.
